My friend Colin & I run a podcast called Everyday Spirituality. We started this podcast over a year ago (first under a different name), because we were so tired of the mostly toxic positivity and bypassing vibes in the spiritual community, and were looking for a more grounded, practical approach to spirituality in daily life. We didn’t find what we were looking for, so we started our own thing.
I love that thing! And I want to share it with you on Substack, too, because really, why do we keep our lives in neat little boxes, so that only the little bits people may like about us are being shown? Nah. I want to talk and write about everything and anything on this platform that I love (and maybe also don’t love but still am passionate about) so from now on I will share this labour of love with you all.
We are so excited about this Episode, which marks the first one of our new extended editions. In this Episode, we talk about one of Monique's favourite topics: the Tarot. We will share a brief history about the Tarot, what it is and how you can use it in your daily life.
In our extended Version, we then walk you through a guided exercise (where you can tag along!) with the Tarot. We are so excited for this to be the start of our community and our more in-depth offers to you.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them below. For now, enjoy the episode.
You are reading Seeking Truth — letters for the seekers who can’t stop asking the hard questions, trying to find their way through the dark, wondering about the meaning of it all.
I Am Monique, a writer by day & a witch at night.
Questioning is my norm. Seeking the truth is my lifeforce.
Death & Rebirth are my best friends. The Underworld is my home.
In my writing, I share about my life as a late-diagnosed autistic woman and explore spirituality (without the bypassing), death & the in-between — diving into the good, bad and the ugly of where we meet ourselves in the mundane.
Currently, all posts are free in the spirit of accessibility.
But a woman gotta eat & pay rent (love & light ain’t pay for it :) ), hence why
